Principal's Message
Dear Parents and Families,
We have had a fantastic start to the school year with all children from Foundation – Year 6 settling into the routines of school life. All classrooms are extremely settled and outside play is filled with laughter, positivity and energy – St Brigid’s is a great place to be! I have thoroughly enjoyed greeting children and families at the front gate at the beginning of the day – it makes my day seeing big smiles entering the front gate!
As the term progresses, we hope to be able to resume activities that enable us to reconnect as a community. I’m very pleased to announce that in Week 9, on Monday 21st March, 2022, our school will be participating in the Annual Moorabool and District School Sports day. This will be a wonderful opportunity for us to connect with other schools as there will be four schools competing in several activities. This day will be facilitated by school staff and volunteer helpers who will organise and run each event. This is the 25th year that this sports day has been organised at Mason’s Lane, Bacchus Marsh. It would not happen without the dedication and efficiency of the staff and parent helpers from each school to administer each event. More information will be circulated shortly.
Have a fantastic week everyone and please don’t hesitate to call in and see me if you have any questions.
Take care and God Bless,
Jayne Bosworth
