Principal Message
Dear Parents, Carers and Families,
On Saturday, we acknowledged the Feast Day of St. Anne and St. Joachim, the grandparents of Jesus and the Patron Saints of Grandparents and Parents. The Feast Day is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the importance of family, especially the wisdom, love and guidance that grandparents and parents provide. We give thanks for all grandparents and parents in our community – may St. Anne and St. Joachim continue to inspire us to live with love, patience and strong faith.
As we enter Week 2, I’d like to take a moment to reflect on the wonderful start to Term 3. It has been a joy to see the children settle back into school life so positively with a great sense of enthusiasm for the many exciting events planned for Term 3.
This week, our Year 4/5/6 students will attend a two-night Camping experience at Cave Hill Creek. The camp focuses on problem-solving, team building and environmental education—key skills that support students as they begin transitioning into senior primary and secondary school.
Looking ahead, we are excited to celebrate Book Week in Week 5 with the theme ‘Book an Adventure’. Our annual Book Week Parade will be held on Monday 18th August at 2:00pm and we can’t wait to see the creative costumes and characters brought to life!
Take care and have a great week.
