Change of Details
Strong and faithful God,
As we come together for this contest,
We ask you to bless these athletes.
Keep them safe from injury and harm,
Instil in them respect for each other,
And reward them for their perseverance.
Lead us all to the rewards of your kingdom where you live and reign for ever and ever,
Amen
St Brigid's Primary School Ballan wishes to acknowledge respectfully the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live, work, learn, play and gather.

3-Way Conferences will take place this term on Tuesday 27th August from 2:30pm - 6:00pm and Tuesday 3rd September from 2:30pm - 6:00pm. 3-Way Conferences will be 10 minutes in duration. Given the nature of these meetings, it is expected that all students attend the conferences with their parents. Families can book a suitable time through PAM/SIMON Everywhere. Bookings will be made available within the coming weeks.
As previously communicated, this year students from Year 1-6 will be participating in the Inform & Empower Cyber Safety & Digital Wellbeing program. This means that our classes will be tuning in to live streamed incursions (with their teachers) every term that focus on healthy and safe digital habits. The incursion content is all written and delivered by qualified teachers who are endorsed by the eSafety Commissioner as a Trusted eSafety Provider.
These sessions aim to help children better navigate the online world and become more aware, clever, brave and kind. They will focus on topics including navigating unwanted contact, cyberbullying, help-seeking strategies, unsafe content, balancing screen time with "green time" and sharing personal information. Our first session will commence next week.
The following website will provide you with further information regarding Inform and Empower.

We have now made the transition to winter uniform. Please ensure that your child is wearing the correct winter uniform including bringing the St Brigid’s school bag to and from school daily.
Children are able to wear the correct sports uniform each Wednesday and on classroom nominated sports day as directed by your child’s classroom teacher.
The St Brigid’s winter uniform consists of the following:
A reminder to please label clothing, lunchboxes, containers, bags and water bottles!
Hot lunches have resumed for Term 3 via the online ordering system - Spriggy Schools.
Please see the brochure for information regarding the Spriggy Schools App.
Volunteers:
This term we will re-introduce a roster to help prepare and serve lunches on each Friday. If you are available to help out on a Friday between 11.30am-1.00pm please contact the school office (valid Working with Children Check is required).
The children really enjoy hot lunches and this can only happen with the help of volunteers!
Our next P&F meeting will take place on Thursday 15th August from 3.15pm - 4.00pm in our school Library. An active P&F committee allows families the opportunity to play a valuable part in providing social and fundraising activities. Please attend this meeting if you are interested in joining our P&F committee.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as all funds raised contribute to resources and materials to support your children in their holistic development.
As we are now in the process of planning for 2025, please ensure that all Foundation 2025 enrolments are submitted as soon as possible via the ‘enrol now’ tab on our website -
All of the timetabled events (to date) for the school year can be found on our school calendar which can be accessed through PAM and via this newsletter.
