Change of Details
A huge shoutout to our amazing students who represented our school at the Cross Country event in Ballarat on Friday. Special mention to Landen Doyle (9/10-year-old boys division), who placed 12th, and Anaya Bamford (11-year-old girls division), who placed 8th - both will progress to the Greater Western Regional Cross Country event to be held at Albert Park, Warrnambool on Monday the 26th May, 2025. Thank you to our amazing staff for their outstanding organisation in preparation for the Cross Country event.
On Friday 9th May, we celebrated our wonderful mothers, grandmothers and special people! Our morning commenced with a delicious breakfast followed by a Liturgy. It was a truly special occasion and was well attended by many of our mothers, grandmothers and special people. The buzz in the Gathering Space and Church was electric!
Recently we have had cases of head lice reported in our school community. While head lice are not harmful, they can spread easily, so we encourage all families to take a few proactive steps.
Please check your child’s hair regularly for any signs of head lice or nits (eggs). If you find any, we recommend beginning treatment promptly and notifying the school to ensure that we can monitor the situation. For guidance on treatment and prevention, please consult your pharmacist or healthcare provider.
We have now made the transition to winter uniform. Please ensure that your child is wearing the correct winter uniform daily.
Children are required to continue to wear the correct sports uniform each Tuesday and Wednesday. Given the nature of Physical Education lessons, on Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s children can wear either correct sports shorts/skorts or track pants.
If you have any winter tunics or navy trousers you would like to sell, particularly in smaller sizes, please contact the school office.
The St Brigid’s winter uniform consists of the following:

Hot lunches will take place each Friday via the online ordering system - Spriggy Schools on SZapp.
Volunteers
We have re-introduce a roster looking for volunteers to help prepare and serve lunches on each Friday. Ideally 2 helpers are required.
If you are available to help out on a Friday between 11.30am-1.00pm please contact the school office with your dates (valid Working with Children Check is required).
The children really enjoy hot lunches and this can only happen with the help of volunteers!
